So which is best? We pitted Google Voice Search against , asking a few simple questions such as where what the weather might look like on an upcoming vacation, where we can find a great lunch, and when our favorite sports team was playing next.

When it came to food, Siri was at the top of her game. We asked where we could find Pad Thai, and she was quick to respond with 21 restaurants in our general area that had Pad Thai on the menu, listing them by rating.

Google, meanwhile, was only able to come up with one result for Pad Thai.

Google was also smart enough to figure out where were talking about the San Francisco Giants -- rather than the New York team -- since it’s baseball season.

Siri, on the other hand, just searched our calendar for an event labeled “Giants game” -- and didn’t offer the option to search the web when she couldn’t find anything. Not exactly helpful.
