The GIF, created by Folds Five, is one-third of the trilogy - part of PixelMash Theater, which animated other iconic films like Indiana Jones and Back to the Future.
Folds Five created PixelMash Theater a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away known as 2008.

However, one Reddit user discovered the artwork Friday, and it took less than two hours to shoot to the front page.
The GIF received harsh critique from Reddit users about technical errors, like Luke Skywalker's incorrectly-colored lightsaber. Folds Five quickly jumped in and apologized "for letting the entirety of the internet down."
You might recall a certain Mashable employee who had never seen Star Wars, but we assure you that she is not using these GIFs as a cheat sheet.
