Netflix Inc. has bounced back from an unpopular price-hike announcement last July and is growing in subscribers again. Here's a breakdown of Netflix's subscribers as of March 31. Netflix will report the numbers through June when it releases its second-quarter results on July 24.
Streaming:
— 23.4 million in U.S., gain of 1.7 million during the first quarter
— 3.1 million outside the U.S., gain of 1.2 million
— 26.5 million total, gain of 2.9 million
DVD:
— 10.1 million in U.S., loss of 1.1 million. DVD service is not available in other countries.
Combined (some U.S. customers have both plans and are counted once in combined figure):
— 26.1 million in U.S., gain of 1.7 million
— 29.1 million worldwide, gain of 2.9 million
Forecast for the quarter through June:

— 23.6 million to 24.2 million in U.S.
