Will Facebook's Efforts Drive Up Organ Donor Registrations? [POLL]





Facebook is using its 901-million-strong following for good, offering organ donors and transplant recipients a way to link up.

That's one way to look at it. Another is that Facebook needs to do all it can to deflect concerns about privacy and users' uneasy feelings about using their information for advertising purposes. Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, however, told ABC News that the idea sprung, in part, from his friendship with the late Steve Jobs. The former Apple CEO received a liver transplant (a fact he famously confirmed at an Apple product launch event), which extended his life by years.
