Meet the First Round of BlackBerry 10 Apps

The trailer for Nova 3 just went up, and is getting widespread attention. Gameloft said it was committed to bringing the game to BlackBerry 10, along with Shark Dash.

Research In Motion just gave developers access to its upcoming smartphone platform, BlackBerry 10, but clearly the conversation started long before today. Several developers were on hand at BlackBerry World in Orlando to highlight their commitment to RIM's new software.

The names of the partners -- from Poynt to Gameloft to Occipital -- are a varied group in terms of size and category. Games, content services and augmented-reality apps are all represented. Although RIM's CEO Thorsten Heins had previously said the company would refocus on enterprise, clearly it still welcomes all demographics.
