Lopez posted a note on Facebook that told fans to follow her on Twitter (@Jlo) for a tweet with the video.

"Become a part of history - follow me @JLo on Thursday for the first ever video premiere of "Follow the Leader" on Twitter. Look for my tweet at 7am PT/10am ET," Lopez wrote on her Facebook page.

This isn't the first time that Lopez has used social media to debut new music. In March 2011, she launched a campaign to encourage fans to "Like" her new single "I'm Into You" on her Facebook Page to receive access to the tune before it's official iTunes release.

She's not the first big name musician to offer exclusive music content on Twitter. In January, electronic music master Tiësto participated in the first-ever live stream of a concert on Twitter to kick off the launch of a 10-episode series on YouTube called "In the Booth," a behind-the-scenes look at Tiësto's life and his impact on the electronic dance movement.
